COLLECTOR CARE

Shipping & Care

Shipping, returns, damage claims, and care notes for MASOMA collectible art objects.

Last updated: July 6, 2026

MASOMA ships hand-finished collectible art objects for adult collectors. Works are prepared with care so relief, surface, and finish arrive ready for private display.

MASOMA pieces are not toys and are not intended for children. This site, its artwork, and its collecting language are intended for an 18+ audience.

Order preparation

Each product page may state its own preparation window, edition details, photography status, or made-to-order timing. If no specific timing is stated, available works generally begin shipping within 3-7 days after checkout. If a delay occurs, MASOMA will contact you with updated timing and available options.

Shipping destinations

MASOMA is built for collectors in the United States and selected international destinations. Shipping availability, carrier options, and delivery costs are shown during checkout when available.

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges required by their country unless checkout clearly states otherwise.

Packaging and tracking

Works are packed to protect sculptural relief, frames, finishes, and small object surfaces. When tracking is available, tracking information will be sent to the email address used at checkout.

Please inspect the package when it arrives. If the package or work appears damaged, keep all packaging materials and contact MASOMA promptly at hi@masoma.art with photos of the box, label, packing material, and artwork.

Returns and exchanges

Unless a product page states that a work is final sale, eligible returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. To start a return, contact MASOMA at hi@masoma.art with your order number before shipping anything back. Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.

Returned works must be unused, undamaged, unaltered, and packed in their original packaging with all protective materials included. Because MASOMA works are fragile sculptural objects, return packaging must protect the relief, surface, frame, finish, and corners during transit. If the original packaging is unavailable, the buyer must use packaging of equal or stronger protection.

For returns due to a change of mind, fit, scale preference, gift decision, or similar customer reason, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, carrier fees, and any other return-related charges. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to MASOMA error or confirmed transit damage.

After a returned work is received and inspected, MASOMA will notify you whether the return is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. If a returned work arrives damaged, missing packaging, altered, used, or requiring significant repacking or restoration, MASOMA may refuse the return or deduct a reasonable restocking or repair amount where permitted by applicable law.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact MASOMA within 3 days of delivery at hi@masoma.art with your order number and clear photos of the outer box, shipping label, inner packaging, and affected artwork.

Please keep all packaging materials until the claim is resolved. If the issue is confirmed, MASOMA may arrange a replacement, repair, store credit, partial refund, or refund depending on the work, edition availability, damage condition, and carrier claim requirements.

Non-returnable works

Limited editions, artist proofs, customized works, made-to-order works, special commissions, gift cards, and items marked final sale are not returnable or exchangeable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. Any final sale status should be shown on the product page before purchase.

Exchanges

MASOMA currently handles exchanges as a return and a new purchase. Contact MASOMA before returning a work so we can advise on availability, timing, and any collector-specific options.

International returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and related carrier charges unless the return is due to MASOMA error or confirmed transit damage. Do not send an international return without instructions from MASOMA, because incorrect customs documentation may cause delays, extra fees, or refusal by the carrier or customs authority.

Care

Keep works away from direct water, high humidity, extreme heat, direct sunlight, and abrasive cleaning products. Dust gently with a clean, dry, soft cloth. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or household cleaners on painted, framed, resin, or hand-finished surfaces.
